WEBD 3102Java Platform, Enterprise Edition60 credit-hoursIn this course we explored Java on the server through Apache Tomcat, JavaServer Pages, and JavaServer Faces. Presented here is the course's major deliverable - a web store to be implemented in JavaServer Faces including browsing, managing a shopping cart, and shipping an order, and connecting it all to a database (I chose MySQL). It was everyone's first exposure to JSF 2.0 - the design I made to get the store working doesn't compare to the standards adhered to in our PHP course. To that effect, a list of potential improvements is included.
