PS11 - More! Bedford
The morning mist on Sandy Lake.
Five mourning doves waiting to swoop down for the kill.
A bird feeder traffic jam.
Nobody messes with the mourning doves.
Condos and yachts and townhouses line the upper end of the Bedford
Basin.
The old Moris Mill water pumping station, now a visitor information
centre.
I saw this bird in the Moirs Mill Pond perched on a rock for minutes
on end with its wings stretched out. Perhaps it was drying itself off.
Condos on Nelson's Landing Boulevard.
Mike's Restauraunt, Bedford Place Mall. Clockwise from front end:
Brenda Johnston-Giles (mother), a Servas guest from out west who is the
wife of a retired minister, Henry Haverstock (friend of the family), a
Servas guest from out west who is a retired minister, Paul Giles (stepfather).
Perhaps I should have got my mother to take this picture when I was
sitting down. I'm still in the hunt for that perfect "me" picture to use
for this website and for online personal ads.
The interchange between Provincial Collector Highway 213 and Provincial
Arterial Highway 102. This was taken very late at night, as part of a test
to see what light levels I could dip down too using 800 film in a 400-or-slower-compatible
automatic camera (thus, the shots at 800 are overexposed by one stop, creating
some strange additional effects from time to time).
The legendary sword in the stone - Excalibur.
