PS10j - David Usher concert

The setup phase of the concert. From left to right: Andrew Kazmel (Orientation Coordinator), Mays Markabi (self-professed "I want to marry David Usher!" type). Fortunately for David Usher, Mays behaved herself.

Photography rule #116: Be sure to turn on your Red-Eye Reduction System if you don't want Georgia to look like she just stepped out of a Gothic movie. =) My camera is so hit-and-miss with indoor shots, and I still can't understand why. The woman on the right with the glow sticks is named Christi.

The Tower Fieldhouse, being more of a sports than a concert venue, has only the one "ticket gate." Things would go so much faster if our liquor laws were more progressive, though. I think it's stupid to spend so much time and energy sorting and labeling those who are allowed to drink and those who aren't. Plus, I mean, you're in university now, you should be allowed to drink anyway. I'm in favor of 15 for a drinking age, then 18 for a "venue" age that nightclubs and cabarets could adopt at their option.

Facing camera, from left to right: Ian McNeil, ?, Brian Gunn, ?

From left to right: Sean Hamilton ("Speedbag"), Susan Shepherd.

From left to right: William Matheson, Shubha De.

From left to right: Nathan Kickum, Parnell Faerron. (from PEI! My mom taught Nathan for his Grade 3.)

From left to right: Sarah Ritcey (serving alcohol?!?!), Angela Ritcey, ? (I should know her name, I talked to her at the Pacifico and she also works at the SMUSA Info Desk).

Oh, were there people actually expecting to see pictures of the actual preformance? Um... well, personally I find these people much more interesting, and I could hear the music just fine out in the corridor anyway. =) So that's why there are no pictures from inside the concert. If you really like David Usher, please visit his official website.
