PS16 - Jean and Robert's Party

First, some pictures from Mom's camera:

Uncle Bill playing with Robert's camera. "And now, I can have a picture of me for my website!" =) Well, we've all been there.

Robert's patio.

From left to right: Nanny, Aunt Heather, Aunt Jesse.

This guy was comical. I went up and asked what he had for drinks, and he was like, "well, I've got orange juice, pop..." and I stand there looking at him kind of blankly and then he asks, "Are you 19?" I say yes, and without a word he opens that big chest to his right (our left). So I'd say he was doing a pretty good job of keeping the under-19 kiddies out of the sauce.

This cake got grazed a few times due to its proximity to patio traffic.

These masked people are observing a time-honoured tradition. I forget what it's called, though.

Jean and Robert. An easy joke was made about the knife, so it was quickly...

... time to dance instead.

Left: Me, with Aunt Heather's camera, videotaping partly for the benefit of Uncle Cliff who couldn't make it.

From left to right: Paul (stepfather), Mom, Nanny. (What's with the feeble little flashes on digital cameras nowadays, anyway? That's one thing Robert's Mavica would be better at.)

From my camera:

Nanny and Heather examine the old wedding photos.

Grampy (left), and Robert (right) no doubt having an important discussion.

This is hands-down the coolest living room ever. I feel like I've stumbled into an episode of Q. Eye... =)

Erin (left) and Alex (right) critique my camera usage.

Well, if you're so good at it... =) That's Jean and Robert's daughter Elise on the right.

Oh, now where'd Angie get that? That ain't V-8!

One thing the video camera captured that mine didn't was when one of Jean or Robert's relatives came into the living room to preform some card tricks. It was quite entertaining. Yes, an entertaining evening through all... I was kind of sad when one of Elise's cool friends turned out to be a huge "Weird Al" fan; sad because I only found out after she left. <Sigh.> =)
