Some pictures from Brudenell River (and, as it turns out, both the Brudenell and Dundurave courses):
Aunt Shirley and Uncle Shane.
Brudenell #2 tee.
See that little sign on the lower right? Those are fun to pick up and
rearrange.
Brudenell #3 tee.
Birdie! Or par, perhaps.
Aunt Shirley is pleased either way. Her golf mentality kind of works
like PEI geography. =)
Brudenell #4 approach.
Brudenell #5 tee.
Uncle Shane, about to tee off.
Uncle Shane going fishing. Not that these pictures are related or anything.
=)
Dundarave #? green. It was at this point that the round really became
a non-round. I don't see anything in the Rules that allows for switching
courses - though I think some local rules adjustments might make for more
interesting rounds.
Some photos from Avondale:
Women golfers, eh? (Okay, someone shoot me.)
PEI rules because people put out signs like this for the benefit of
the like 3 cars per hour that use this back road to drive right past here
(hence the reason it's for sale!). I can just see a guy and his wife driving
by: "Hey, Edna! I think we should buy this golf course!" "But dear, don't
you think we ought to play it first?"
"Okay, if you miss this, you're buying!"
