These two images are from a preproduction meeting for Film Amateura. From left to right: Michael Fox, Charles Conrad.

Mike and Joey and I acquire second-hand coolness from second-hand smoke.

This is from a major shoot at Mr. Bean's Cafe in Bedford. It was nice and quiet in there and we were able to get a lot done. Always go to small businesses to do your guerrilla filmmaking, that is the new White Lance motto. From left to right: Justin Ju, Michael Fox, Charles Conrad.

The set moved to my own house a couple of times. From left to right: Michael Fox, Jonathan Saunders. Jon rules - he's great to act with.

We hooked the camera up to my TV for a bit to go over the day's raw footage.

From a shoot at the Dalhousie Student Union Building. Here we're joined by Josh Webb. The Student Union executive were extremely nice to us - they even let us shoot a scene in one of their offices.

Josh and I rehearsing for said office scene. This is going to be a great movie; I can feel it already. I'm due for a haircut.

The next images are from a second shoot at my house.

Chris Duval, who plays the cameraperson. The character is a little like "Timmy" from South Park. Chris is a really funny guy, and what's more is that you have to be pretty smart to play so simple a character.

Introducing: Steve Yorke!

A lot of the stuff we shot here ended up in the teaser trailer.

Sandy Lake - the perfect shooting location for any suburban fantasy film.

With Mark here, we can begin in earnest. From left to right: Michael Fox ("Why do I always have to carry the crates?"), Mark Wolf, Steve Yorke, Joey Campbell.

Ducks. They made it in the movie, too - or at least into the bonus clips.

... and that's all for now, but stay tuned for more. This movie isn't promised until 2004, but it's going to be worth the wait. I haven't been this enthused about a Michael Fox movie since the one I wrote! =)
