PS7 - Driving
Things are getting more abstract here...
While in Prince Edward Island, I was generously allowed access to my Aunt Shirley's 1998 Toyota Corolla CE. (I think the VE, CE, and LE stand for Value, Comfort, and Limited Editions...) Anyway, here's some pictures I took in and around the car.
This here is my trip up the Souris Line Road to collect my last paycheque.
Take note of the straight, empty carriageway. Oooh! Bugs! During the summer
months, hundreds of insects will find their way onto your car windshield.
Of course.
The CE can be equipped with a CD player, and I sing along (loudly)
to what I play. =)
This picture didn't turn out to be nearly as cool as I'd hoped.
While taking the photographs near the top of this page, I lost control
of the vehicle while playing with the camera, and I ended up in the woods.
Fortunately, I was able to push the car out by myself, and there wasn't
even a scratch on it. When I told Aunt Shirley about this, she was understandably
upset.
No, I didn't really crash into the woods.
These pictures show what the Town of Souris looks like from the other
side of the Souris River in New Zealand.
Here you can see the ferry departing for the Magdalen Islands. I've
never been to them; I'd like to go someday.
