PS9 - (before the) Truro Trip

Some pictures I took before a brief trip north to Truro to visit relatives.

Mill Cove, Bedford, before 7am, where I caught a bus into town.

A fog bank over Halifax made for a bunch of interesting photographs that I could have taken.

I walk up to the bus terminal. But... something's wrong. Ach! They've moved! To the South End! Walking is really out of the question, so I have to use up another transit coupon. I didn't take a transfer because I couldn't see myself needing one, but I guess I was wrong today.

A newly-painted Acadian Lines bus in front of The Westin Nova Scotia.

From left to right: VIA / Acadian Lines station, seaport, Barrington Market SuperStore.

I would take the train to Truro, even though it is more expensive, but unfortunately the single late-afternoon trip didn't fit in with my schedule. When I go someplace, I like to start off early in the morning, so as to get the most time away from mom and Paul and our stupid horse as humanly possible. =)

Victoria Park, Truro, later that morning.

I know, silly, isn't it? Only one (good) picture from Truro. Since the rest of the time outside was spent walking around the back side of the town looking for a shopping mall, I don't think it's any great loss, though I really should have taken pictures of Mike and Carol. I don't know why it didn't occour to me - perhaps my mind just wasn't on taking pictures like it usually is. Someday I'll make up for it.
